Bill Gates was one of many powerful people whose association with Epstein was revealed in 2019 when his sex-trafficking ring finally came crashing down. Gates told Anderson Cooper in a 2021 interview that it was a "huge mistake" to spend time with Epstein. The Microsoft founder admitted to meeting him on several occasions for dinners, hoping to raise money for his philanthropic causes, even though he had concerns about Epstein and was aware of his past conviction for child prostitution.

When his divorce from his wife of 27 years was announced in 2021, there were rumors that his relationship with Epstein was part of what brought their marriage to an end. Months later, Melinda Gates spoke out about their divorce for the first time in a candid interview with Gayle King. She explained that no one thing caused her to make her decision, but that she did have a big problem with her husband's association with Epstein. "I did not like that he'd had meetings with Jeffrey Epstein," she told King, "I made that clear to him." Gates also revealed that she'd met Epstein on one occasion and immediately regretted it. "He was abhorrent. He was evil personified. I had nightmares about it afterwards. My heart breaks for these young women."

Ghislaine Maxwell -

Epstein's long-time friend and confidant Ghislaine Maxwell was formally convicted of conspiring with Epstein to recruit, groom, and abuse underage girls and was sentenced to 20 years in prison on June 28, 2022. A judge said the British socialite, who was close to Epstein for decades, played a pivotal role in facilitating the twisted scheme that spanned continents and years. Maxwell was arrested on six federal charges relating to sex trafficking of minors in July of 2020, and in 2021 she was found guilty of five of the charges brought against her.

Jean-Luc Brunel -

One of Epstein's close associates, French modeling agent Jean-Luc Brunel, was found hanged in his Paris prison cell in the early hours of February 19, 2022. The 76-year-old had been held since December 2020 as he was investigated on suspicion of the sexual assault of minors and trafficking of minors for sexual exploitation as part of a French inquiry into the allegations against Epstein. Brunel had co-founded MC2 Model Management in the US with funding from Epstein, and in addition to sexually assaulting minors, prosecutors suspected him of transporting and housing young girls or young women for Epstein. Brunel had continuously denied any wrongdoing, but his alleged victims have expressed their disappointment that they will not be able to face him in court.

Prince Andrew - Prince Andrew, son of the late Queen of England, younger brother of King Charles III, is one of the most notorious friends of Epstein and is deeply embroiled in the scandal.

He is known to have visited Jeffrey Epstein's home on several occasions, as well as the private island where many of his crimes were said to have taken place. But Prince Andrew has claimed that he never saw any underage girls during his visits.

However, Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein's most vocal accusers, claims that she was assaulted by the prince three times while still a minor. An employee of Epstein also said that he saw Prince Andrew assaulting the same girl at Epstein's private island home.

Prince Andrew has denied all claims, but after a disastrous TV interview on the subject he decided to step down from his royal duties and disappeared from public life. Virginia Giuffre then launched a lawsuit against him in the US and he was stripped of all his military honors. They ended up settling out of court for an undisclosed amount in February 2022.

Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein moved in similar circles. They were both wealthy entrepreneurs who worked out of Florida and New York.

Trump and Epstein were known to be friendly. In 2002, Trump was quoted as saying that he had known Epstein for 15 years and he was a terrific guy. "He likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side."

Bill Clinton was also a friend of Epstein's and worked with him on some of his philanthropic endeavors. Flight records and photos show that he traveled on Epstein's private plane at least 11 times.

Harvey Weinstein - An associate of Epstein claimed that Weinstein attempted an aggressive sexual act on the girl and was thrown out of the apartment by Epstein. Weinstein is now serving a 23-year sentence for numerous sexual assaults.

Allen was named as one of several friends who stood by Epstein following his allegations. There's speculation that he was sympathetic to Epstein, as he was the subject of some serious sexual abuse claims himself.

William Barr is the current US Attorney General who was responsible for the investigation into Epstein's death, which many say was highly suspicious.

In 2018, Epstein invited journalist James B. Stewart to his Manhattan home for an interview. He had photos of himself with some of his famous friends on display. He showed Stewart the ones who had been accused of sex crimes themselves: Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, and Woody Allen.

It's speculated that the plea deal given to Epstein in 2008, as well as his death in 2019, are the result of a cover-up to protect his famous friends. Sadly, we may never know.
